Frequent questions
Is there a difference between a certified and a sworn translation?
In everyday use the terms mean the same thing: a translation made and certified by a translator sworn before a court. In Luxembourg the official French term is traduction assermentée.
Can I send a scan instead of the original?
Yes. For most translations a clear scan or photo is enough. We will tell you if the receiving authority requires the translation to be bound to the original.
Do you translate into Luxembourgish?
